Universal Aldehyde resin of K-A81 K-A81L and K-A101

The appearance of aldehyde resin of H series is white or slight yellow granules.lt is a kind of aliphatic aldehyde hard resin with resistant to yellowing.lt is suit for solvent coatings,solvent inks,powder coatings,water-based coatings,variety resin-modified and other areas.lts major performance is improving the polarity of a variety of resins,improving the resistant to yellowing or coating films and shortening drying time.Also it can improve the coating films’ hardness,fullness and gloss,increase solid content and reduce VOC emissions.The price is over 30% lower than similar foreign products, product performance has reached similar foreign products, some performance are better than similar foreign products.

Application of Aldehyde Resin Products

Used for coatings

In some coatings,if the content of the aldehyde resin of K-A81, K-A81L and K-A101 is too high,it will affect the coatings adhesion,flexibility or weatherability.The general content is 5-15%,the maximum shall not exceed 20%. lf has special requirements,please self-adjustment according to test results.It also can be used to be directly additive of inks and coatings,the add amount is 5%.

Alkyd resin

Reduce the viscosity of alkyd resin,increase the hardness and gloss,improve drying property.

Add5-10% aldehyde resin K-A81/K-A81L at the final stage of synthetic resin.

Alkyd/Amino baking coatings

Improve hardness and fullness

According to the quality request,replace the alkyd resin with the amount no more than 20%.

NC coatings

Improve the performance of anti-UV,resistant to yellowing.Increase solid content and gloss.
Improve the flexibility to aromatic solvent.

Can replace NC(nitrocellulose)resin with the amount of 20-30%.

Alkyd/Chlorinated resin Coatings

Increase the compatibility between chlorine ether and chlorine rubber and alkyd resin,improve coatings gloss and solid content.

Can replace the alkyd resin with the amount no more than 10%.

Hot melts for road marking paint

Good weatherability.Improve adhesion power,Reduce the amount of titanium dioxide in white road marking paint.

Can be used alone or used with petroleum resin.

Powder coatings

Improve flowability and adhesion power.

In epoxy powder coatings,K-A81/K-A81L can replace the resin with amount of 5-15%.In epoxy/polyester powder coatings,K-A101 can replace the resin with amount of 5-15%.

Used for pigment paste (current paste)

The resin of K-A81/K-A81L has very good solubility and compatibility , and has excellent pigment wetting property.It is very suitable as a carrier resin for pigment paset.With the appropriate dispersant,It can improve the color strength of pigment paste.In the application of current pigment paste,according to the request of user,the content of K-A81/K-A81L can be controlled between 30% to 60%.As the carrier resin of pigment, K-A81/K-A81L can improve the pigment content greatly after be made into current pigment paste.Also the paste has good stability in storage and transportation.You can also reduce the number and variety of inventory paste volume.This improves the coating’s adaptability ability to the pigment variety changing.The resin can help pigment paste changed to coatings and put into market in the shortest possible.While reduce cost more than 30% compared with similar foreign products.

Used for inks

It can improve the compatibility between solvent,resin and colorant. It can improve the dispersion stability,gloss,transparency and adhesion power of inks.
